TAD has some cool stuff I'd like to have, but wouldn't pay that price for, i.e. take down titanium chopsticks for me and the family, hahah.

I prefer Glocks to that CZ for parts availability and take down. it was between the G19 and P-01, but the P-01 just felt so much better in my hands and grip angle was more natural to me. glock will be my next handgun purchase though.

I think if I were to put together a true BOB, I'd use my Mountain Hardwear 40 liter pack. It's big enough to hold a lot of gear and carry the weight comfortably, and built tougher than any of my ultralight backpacking packs.
Could keep a lot more in there than many typical BOB setups.

Its just hard to go very far carrying a man purse. Backpacks leave your hands free for other things and you can really load up if need be, you know. yeah, i prefer the sling style packs, splitting the difference between a backpack and messenger bag. i'd love a maxpedition monsoon, but they are too expensive for what they are. mine was $20 at the GAP outlet, but lacks all the compartments.
