just got my patch. this oval design is creative, but lends itself to defects. the design on mine is slanted off axis. "2006" is in the center, and "2009" is off to the right near the edge.

Sweet - I'm hoping some new lights will get here today too. Anxiously waiting for your reviews.

Tonight after work I will get some up. So far though, I notice slightly more artifacts in the new R2 LED in the PD30.

I am absolutely in love with the rock lobster. I scored it brand new for 150 bucks; cheapest I have seen anywhere, and when I opened it up, it is numbered! I randomly got one of the collectors club models.

fisher trekker's were $30 a pair at staples, so i bit. unlike the other fishers and the inka, you can't put the cap on the back for a full size pen. i recommend a conventional fisher or the Inka if you want something like this.

Just looked at the forecast for my rock climbing this weekend - looks like we might get a little bit of snow. AWESOME!

I don't get much snow anymore, but I love it when I do. Climbing when you can't feel your fingertips is a special kind of torture, of the good variety

the patch is cool, but i would have liked to see the dog face stamped on the knives and cover of the forums. anyways, it was free for us and nice gesture of dan to do so.

p-easy - you said a couple nights ago you recommended the regular sized countycomm bob bag over the XL, do you have one?

Nope, not yet.

I just remember you said you wanted a small/medium bag, and from what I can see in the videos, that would be perfect.

I am going for the large!

It's hard to tell from the pictures and reviews, but I think the regular sized one is too small. Even though measurements are given, every bag/pack I've gotten always seems smaller then I would imagine. Here's a youtube review of the regular sized one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1lk2ZKQUZ9Q when he holds it in his hands, it looks pretty small.

I'm probably going for the larger one as well (in coyote brown). review of the larger one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_tU1BH5bgU
