you have any maxpedition gear, palmer? i have a jumbo versipack that i'm real happy with but i want something bigger some times. the monsoon is cool, but it looks like it may be a poor design.

I dont have any gear by maxpedition, I have a couple camelback bags, some bugout bags, and a bag by a guy that makes some bulletproof gear back home in Montana.

ah. i used a single shoulder sling bag all through college and it was real comfortable, but it has very little compartmentation. monsoon looks like a risky buy, especially for the price.

im a huge fan of the remora, had mine over a year now and ive taken it on short hike and treks and whatnot, fits all my stuff :
surefire G2
maratac AAA
extra batteries for both
MRE peanut butter, cracker and dried cranberries
white bandana
iodine wipes
alcohol wipes
moleskine bandages for blisters
a couple bandaids
rubber gloves
keys
knife (CRKT m-16)
wallet
about 8 feet of paracord wrapped around the molle webbing
Zune & earphones
and theres still some extra room for more stuff
