New flashlights came in....

[Linked Image from farm3.static.flickr.com]

L to R:

Olight T10 (1xCR123A or 1xAA with optional adapter), Romisen RC-G2 II (1xAA), Solarforce L2R Grey and Black (2xAA), Fenix TK20 (2xAA), and MG RX-1

The Romisen and Solarforce lights are for gifts. The Romisen was under $20 and impressively bright for a 1xAA light. It only has one brightness setting, though, and around an hour or two of battery light. The Solarforce lights take a P60 dropin, which was out of stock, and should ship to me in a week or two.

The MG RX-1 is pretty dang impressive. It definitely lights up a room. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten a chance to test it outdoors yet to see just how well it throws. With that big reflector, I expect a heck of a lot of throw.

Oh yeah, something else came in the mail today....

Easily the dullest knife I have EVER purchased, and obscenely thick too. It does seem like a fun toy though <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Yeah, I've sharpened a bunch of Busses with obscenely thick edges, so this one won't be anything new.

Ya, my bro-n-laws boss has a music room, apparently the cords for his stuff are like 100 bucks a foot?

I don't have that kind of cash. If I did, I wouldn't buy that wire.

But I think WalMart has the atr for less.

this is the scope combe. I think it adds $50 to the same model. I'm trying to add this to the Christmas list and $500 rifles are going to make the cut this year. Next year Im thinking i can dig deep and go nicer. 700VTR and FN PBR are on that list. I also have a bit of M1 bug creeping up me. I had known a CMP might be at more door step by now. If I get into PBR I'll be looking at the M1A a little harder as well. Already the ATR as a plinker may help me decide to go with the M1 instead.

JYD #82 yup...
