And yeah, it is a P100 particulate filter. Have new cartridges coming in that do organic vapor as well. Extremely effective and efficient filters. Using them for welding in an unventilated area with a stick welder. Very thick smoke, no danger to the lungs. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

The setup cost me about $60 for the mask and a dozen sets of filters for it from ebay. Had I purchased them locally the mask alone was $45 and they filters were about $14 a pair.

My Dad worked on rebuilding OTR trucks for about 20 years and did a lot of welding. Back then they never used anything and at times the smoke would gag you. It would get so thick they would have to open the shop doors to let some of it ventilate outside. He welded a lot of truck frames together. His largest buildup started with nothing more than the front axle and wheels. He build a complete 18wheeler around that and did it in enough time that the company made about 15K profit.
