Just before I retired I had a dream (nightmare actually) that I FORGOT to do all my final out processing and missed my retirement date! Thank God for valium! ha ha(is that how you spell it)

I stsrted to learn a bit of Geraman before my first tour, it all went away during that year and i just never had the time or will to try to get it back.

Oh i had some nightmares about loosing paperwork and such. Everything worked out well though.

I hear ya, I did learn a little tagalog (phillipine dialect my first wife spoke) and I didn't really even try to learn Japanese, just hello thank you etc...

After reaading the dragon fang post last night i dreamed about it... bourbon dreams

was that the one about the large sword someone had made?

The dragon fang is a busse Katana, not sure how much were made but its BIG. The one with the finger grooves next to all the AK's and Rucks

That's what I thought. I think they said someone had it made by the custom shop and they were mistakenly charge the normal price. Then that got out others started trying, no go! It sure is pretty though

I was fortunate (at lest I think that I was) able to visit the National Sword Museum while I was in Japan. Boy was that nice. I saw some 1000 year (there might have been some older that that), at least old swords. I could not believe the condition they were in. You could tell they were old, and used, but you could put a handle on them and still use them today.

But when I get home Ill get to play with all my toys that I shipped there, most of which Ive never seen before <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Itll be like Christmas
