don't worry about it, dom. the 400k thing was pretty ambitious. Yes, but worth a try. Just not a good time of the year with people off work and spending it with the family, holiday parties, etc.

Snowed in here. Watched a lot of Ghost Hunters today and just watched the movie Australia. OK movie, but best part was a Kangaroo "accident".

You guys are going to make me look at the SK. Even if only to change my view of them. Great rifles. Now Hornady makes a load that has the A-Max rd. Makes the SKS a real viable home defense or hunting rifle. I know a Marine who fought in Vietnam War. He wrote a book called Operation Tuscaloosa about it. They were pinned down by a group of Viet Cong women with SKS rifles--he said they wer plenty accurate enough.

The SK is an excellent rifle IMO. I have had several. Norinco , Russian and they have all functioned flawlessly. I don't think I'd pay the prices that they are bringing now though.

SKS rifles are really nice, reliable and accurate. I've owned several over the years and really liked them. I ended up keeping a Russian and Chinese Paratrooper.
