One thing I found strange (being from the mainland) was having to take a plane(or boat I guess) just to go from one part of the state to another! But I guess, like anything else you get used to it?

weve had several failed attempts at a ferry system.....always shut down.

I am guessing it was because of the weather, mainly?

You know, we (YES, ME INCLUDED!) gripe and complain about the government all the time. I have been in 5 other countries besides the Old U S of A. I say I think the US is the best, not JUST because I am U.S. born but because we have more vaired freedoms than many other nations. Now don't get me wrong, some contries of the world have MORE freedom in some areas than we do, but over all, as to the AMOUNT, I think the we have the most. I may be wrong and If so, no problem. It's just the system I am used to. Just like the system(s) you live in are familar to you. You may not like them all (as we do not like all ours) but they are ours.

I hope this makes sense to you and does not seem as If I am Thumbing my nose at your Country, for I am not. Just noting that each Country is different and we DO need to learn to just all get along and sometimes I feel if the Governments would just BUTT out we could.

Ok, let's try this again. Somehow I lost this the first time. I know it's slow here (not really a big surprise) but how am I gonnna get in another 29 posts before 0900 BST if there's no one to talk to.
