I'm looking at getting the Quark AA2 R5 edition, its not as bright, but on the lowest setting it can run 30 days straight, a great feature for a survival light. The brightest is 206 lumens.

Do they even sell a light that powerful? I bet it would eat up batteries fast. I have my eye on two that powerful...ish. 1.5 hours runtime on high modes. It uses two 18650 cells. Oh, the wicked laser's "torch" is quoted over 4000 lumens!!

I still have to mod my old surefire G2 and 2D maglight. What kind of mods. I am getting an od G2 from a buddy that has went to all Fenix. I am getting the light for 15 bucks so I figured why not? I have a G2Z with aluminum head and Cree 5 lamp--it is bright.

SO how was everyone's Monday? I hope well. What kind of plans for the New Year's Eve? It will be the wife and mine 10 year wedding anniversary so we will have dinner, a movie and try to be in before all the amateur drinkers/revelers are out.
