The BAPOOTDF? Doesn't exactly roll off the tongue guys <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> Smooth as strassenbahnheltestelle. Actually, I stole it from the Elks. They are the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, or BPOE, or Bingo Pays Our Expenses. Just thought some kind of juju order would be kinda cool. Maybe not.

i'm more irritated by the profiteers who turn around and mark up these knives. the whole point was that people could get a great knife at a low price and you're buyin em all up before they do and serving yourself. just doesn't feel right. That is sort of my concern too. I love and use my knives and want to pay a fair price, not an artificially self inflated market. Where a few wanna be capitalists can snatch up all of the stock and then turn around and mark it up 50-100% because they know there are no more of that stock to be had.

Does Scrap Yard do any custom blades? Or is the LEs as far as they go?
Busse Combat does, but I don't know how. Do they really bribe Jerry Busse with Johnny Walker Blue and then plunk down a grand for a custom Steel Heart? No customs yet Zero. Don't know what the future holds but customs don't really fit the Scrapyard Model. The Busse Custom Shop is a total mystery to me so I can't help ya there. I have no idea how they decide what they'll spend their time on.

I agree 100%. I think that they buying limit should be like 3 - hard to justify needed more than that per person - would cut down on those trying to profit off of Dan's generous low priced offerings... Any more than 3 should require approval from Dan or Patti after a legit excuse. I think this is a good idea. The hard core types who need more than 3 blades will either cheat the system anyhow using another account name or will buy more from others that are looking to sell to rotate their blade collection.
