yeah, there's no way to stop em. they'll always have enough user names or credit cards to get plenty of stock.

After the Dogfather release I watched the exchange and Ebay and there wasn't a flood of knives pouring forth. The knives that sold were offered by different individuals. As emotional as this issue is, I'm not convinced there's a real big problem yet. That doesn't mean there won't be in the future, just that I haven't seen it yet.

Does Scrap Yard do any custom blades? Or is the LEs as far as they go?

Busse Combat does, but I don't know how. Do they really bribe Jerry Busse with Johnny Walker Blue and then plunk down a grand for a custom Steel Heart?

No customs yet Zero. Don't know what the future holds but customs don't really fit the Scrapyard Model.

The Busse Custom Shop is a total mystery to me so I can't help ya there. I have no idea how they decide what they'll spend their time on.

I am talking low cost customs like Justin of Range knives does. For example I would like to have thicker G-10 or micarta scales for my DF versus the standard Resiperene C, but that is not an option. Or maybe serrated blade or satin finish blade versus black crinkle. I guess one choice keeps the production flowing quickly and keeps the prices down.

Maybe... yeah... nothing to do other than screen mailing addresses - which could help a little... then again, there could be some roommates who are both big in to SYKCo... Hmmm...

Well, I still think a PM to the yard would be cool. 24 hrs in advance of release.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Like these <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I really like the fact that Justin will do mods to a production model for cheap...

Yes exactly Dice! Great minds think alike, I want some slight changes in these fine production SYKCO blades, nothing major. Like the blue scales. Is that G-10? Could Justin mail me some new grips for my RD-7 if e-mailed him?

Zero - yeah, Justin will do you some grips. Those are blue G10 w/ black spacers. You might have to sand them a little bit if they don't fit your knife exactly - but - I'm sure he'll hook you up.
