Hey, anybody out there?

Sorry I left so quickly yesterday morning, but I had gone to photobucket to grab a picture and next thing I know WHAM!!! Big time virus.

Up comes a window, something about threat detected do you want to remove (I've had this happen before) clicked on ok and it goes to an ad for an antivirus software. Starts scanning and I click the red X, it goes away but NOTHING works on the computer anymore, I MEAN NOTHING. Turned the puter off and back on it's still there.

Long story short, it was Our main computer. We were dead in the water for several hours. Still working on very limited capabilities.

Just didn't want you guys to think anything physically bad had happened.

Oh, btw I will be on vacation for a week starting this morning so don't know how much or little I'll be on.

Since this is limited I am gonna go ahead and update 2010 thread and try and get back here.

Before I so abruptly got shoved off the computer by that stinking virus we were talking about the NWO and stuff. Don't know your religious bent or lack of it, but the bible DOES say that one day if you do not "have the mark of the beast" either on your forehead or on the back of our right hand you can "neither buy nor sell" now these are not exact quotes, but close enough. This was read in the english language for the first time, I think, in the 1611 edition of the King James Verison of the bible. In 1611! Folks that was almost 400 years ago, WAY before plastic was invented. Kinda makes you wonder.

Hey Peasy, please read what I said above and in the 2010 thread about the virus. PLEASE PLEASE spread the word around to everyone you know ok.

The computer Tech we've got on retainer did a combat patch to get our back up computer working but we can't print anything! All we can do is the normal check people's license and vehicle plates for out of date or if wanted or stolen. He had to take the main computer back to his company and I don't know what he is gonna have to do to fix it.

I got it man! I'm very up to date with that crap. It's called scare-ware.

What has to be done to get things working again?

I didn't read what it actually said and I didn't THINK about it before I clicked to remove. Our real antivirus software has done that before and I clicked on ok and it really was ok. Not this time. LOOK, THINK, and it might be best to go ahead and turn your computer off and not click on anything in the pop up window.

Oh, and a trucking company literally just about 1/2 mile up the road got the same virus the same night, or I guess I should say morning.
