Jrod, not all that bad. We went to mingo today and saw 16 Eagles! We also saw quite a few deer AND A LIVE Armadillo. This it only the 3rd one we have seen alive in 3 years. Two of them have been within a week! This one sniffed my shoes and actually stood on my right foot for about 10 seconds. My wife's camera had the 75-300 lens on it and it was so close the camera wouldn't focus! Not really a bad day for her Birthday. Man, those things are moving targets---a left over from the dinosaur days. Oh yeah, they carry leapersy. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

The cold and outdoor activities are the two things I'm looking forward to most. I'm hoping to do some snowshoe backpacking trips, and lots and lots of rock climbing when the temperatures are above 50. Really neat town called Creede that I spent time in two yaers ago. Summer only unless you like lots of snow- check it out <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Story goes that at one time most of this general area was a lot like that. In fact, the town I live in was once a swamp that was drained by a Gov project called the Little River Drainage District.
