I want to get a Happy Trigger and a Bear Proof ext for mine.

Been wanting this since I first saw the pictures.

The trigger is well worth the cash. Way easy to install. I need to order the ejector. I usually don't shoot anything too hot so i don't need it but they are over built and one piece so its probably the last ejector you would ever need.

Haven't been able to find a release date on that FNP but i'm thinking it may be a Christmas present to myself if the funds are right.

On the ejector, I agree. I do shoot some Buffalo Bore 405 gr JSP that is pushing around 1850. I plan on reloading for it once I get my stuff set back up but those will be 405 gr RNFP lead.

I haven't shot anything with mine at more than 20 yards away. I can't imagine what a buffalo bore or a garret would do to a wild hog.

I am ready to find out!

Let me know how it works out. I know I wasted an entire shoulder on one in November. That was plain jane 405grain fodder. The hot stuff should just decimate them. I was shocked at how fast a head shot at 10 feet planted a 120 lb'er. It was like something you would see in a cartoon.

Sweet! I am hoping to get out this coming weekend since I have a fee sat. I am hoping to take the 1895 SBL. I really need to name her but not sure what.

I like the SBL marlin got that one right. The SBL has nearly all the stuff on it factory that most people did aftermarket to ones like mine. I have the original GG. I like the straight stock on it.

I had a 1895G and sold it when I had a chance on the SBL. I was going to do these things anyway, and since I got into the SBL for about the same as my G and upgrades I figured why not.
