back in the day when I was doing jujitsu my instructor was english.
We had a great club and usually on Fridays after class we would all go to a little english pub that shared our parking lot.
They used to serve a real nice "house ale"

My parents bought me the hybrid for christmas I haven't tried it yet...

You might prefer the Diablo, but the Hybrid is so comfortable. I'm not a hunter and I couldn't care less about the camo pattern, but that's an easy sacrifice for the most comfortable and bomb-proof pack I've ever used.

"What?"

Sorry, it's calling to me now.

"I know I haven't taken you out in three months, we'll do something this weekend, just you and me. I promise!"

Sorry you had to hear that everyone. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/paperbag.gif" alt="" />

That's a beautiful knife Joe. What exactly is folded leather though?

It's too late to trade it in for the diabalo, they couldn't find one (my brother looked for them) so they got me the hybrid.
I am sure I will like it, just need to buy a hydration pack (something else I've never used)

I am almost 45 and I am oldschool on a lot of things

It's where the leather folds over the spine of the knife instead of it being stacked.

I'm trying to upload a picture, hold on...

With the exception of waterfowl and turkey hunting I think 99% of the camo out there is designed for the hunter's eye and nothing else.
Most of the camo I own was simply bought because I was looking for outdoor gear and that is what was available.
A couple of weekends ago I was at an ice fishing derby and man it's funny to see all these guys sitting on ice in camo

I'm 33 and go backpacking with my dad who's 60. We just started again last year (neither of us have done it for 15 years!)

So there was a lot of new stuff to learn (and buy!)

The first hike we went on last spring my dad borrowed a pack (Kelty Redwing) and wore jeans and a tucked in button front shirt.

He's completely decked out now, all kinds if high tech! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Here's a mock-up Jeff sent me. The final has a few more details, but this should illustrate what a folded sheath is like.

Good for him, my dad is 64 and he used to walk for miles everyday. July of 2008 he hurt his back and knee badly.
He can't walk over rough terrain or hills now.
He feels good if he makes a couple of miles on the high school track next door.
Some of my best memories involve hunting/camping with my dad and brothers.
My daughters love camping but the last three years due to graduations and now university schedules we haven't made it out.
This year we all have 1 week near the end of March off and we are going camping
