two years ago while my mother in law was in hospice, my wife had a bad gall bladder attack and was taken away in an ambulance. They can be nasty if they don't get them in time.

She does obviously have some health issues, but SO FAR we have gotten through them. I just thank God for his help and also her insurance (disabled) and tricare (retired military) insurance. So far we have only had to pay a couple hundred dollars on all her bills and one of them was for over $20K.

I've got a small silva in my BASIC kit (otterbox 3500) but I don't have any maps (yeah, I know my falt). But that's why I was thinking about a a GPS or the bushnell unit would be really nice for the way the wife and I roam abound.

On her, we have been very fortunate. Now on me, that's a different story. The office here has united health care and (for me at least) IT SUCKS! I was told by them 2 times I was covered at the hospital I went to. THEY LIED and of course, it wasn't recorded, they say, so I was stuck for about 3 grand.
