I used to love going to the drive in. Always did it as kid. Enjoyed it until they shut em down. Its pretty rare to see them anymore.

last movie i saw at the drive in was gulity as sin. a buddy of mine was there too with his date in a international harvester scout and he had taken the roof off. about half way through the movie a thunderstorm rolled in and he had to drive back home 15 miles in the rain with no roof.

I had a 73' Scout that I enjoyed driving, though I never tried removing the top! It had a small V-8 and got lousy gas mileage. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />

in 93 gas was .87 a gallon

Jumping in with a random comment here - I have become completely hooked on Mexican Coke.... The beverage, not the powder <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

in Mexico they use real sugar, instead of corn syrup. It makes the coke taste soooooooo much better

and then $1.50 in nc until that silly little hurricane in new orleans popprd gas over $3.00 a gallon, never been right since then.
