Looks like there has been some posting going on over here.
I am worn the smooth out. Long weekend and season. I had one wrestler place at the state tournament, and he should win it next year if his progression continues. He is a young man that only started wrestling in the 8th grade, great athlete, comes from a very rough and abusive home life, was gang banging in 8th grade and could whip a lot of older guys, bad grades, etc. I got a hold of him in football and challenged him more than once when he would go off the deep end. I finally talked him to coming to wrestling. Well, now he is a jr in high school, has above a 3.5 gpa, scored a 23 on ACT, trying to get a grip on what it is to be successful. If he stays on his plan and path he will be a success story, not a statistic like a lot of the males in his family. He kind of choked me up last night when he told me that after he is done wrestling in college, not if he wrestles in college, that he wants to come back and teach/coach. Made the season worth it. Thanks guys. No movies here. I had my glory, now I just want others to feel and experience what I have.
Missed the 1st period. Sounds like I did not miss much being a USA fan. Pretty good in the 3rd.
