Oh Yeah! One of the first articles I saw about survival kits. Somewhere else I found an article using an ammo pouch for a carrier and a small bread pan to hold all the kit in. Are you familar with that one?

Now I know how I got mixed up. The kit I talked about in my above post is on his site, under the survival pages section.

I've seen a few mention bread pans. I don't know whether I've seen the one you read.

So,have you made yourself and yours good kits?

Oh I've got a few things thrown in an otterbox and a pelican case and both of them inside a natl gard bag about 12x6x9 that a friend gave me. Actually I think it's made for toiletries, you know soap shave cream toothpast/brush stuff like that. But it's a really good size.

It stays in the jeep and I have had to use some bandaids and the ferro rod a couple times. Made me feel glad to have it. In it I've got:

several meds for diahareah (you know) stuff for constipation, aspirin, tylonel, advil, betadine swabs, gause and cotton balls Q-tips 300 ft of about 80lb test bright yellow braded line an arc AA flashlight, buck diamondback guide (?) knive with a 3 1/8 blade and rubber handle (fits longways in the otterbox) and some medical tape, whistle and some other stuff I have forgotten. Still gotta get a water filter (not sure what kind/which one) I want to get a couple water straw filters and either carry bleach in a countycomm tube vault or get some kind of tablets/powder for PURIFICATION. Oh I also plan on making up some cotton ball/wax and getting a piece or 2 of fatwood if I can find a store selling just 4 or 5 pieces.

Do you have any kind of pot in there?

MARIJUANA IS ILLEGAL!hehe. No, nothing to cook with. THAT is why I was thinking about the small bread pan. In the bag I am using, a full size pan MIGHT fit.
