Decided to try and finish stripping the finish of a HG55 that someone else had started. Well, It is some thick and tough crap to remove. I am using good stuff, Zip Strip and having hell. I will get a pan tomorrow and let it sit and soak. I love the feel of the HG55 but with a S5LE and a RMD ordered I don't know which one will get more carry time.

Yes. I've had a really hard time keeping the number of fixed blades knives down. My idea is to keep 3 - 1 EDC; 1 around 5 inches and a chopper. I just can't seem to do that with all the new releases....

I haven't been keeping up. Is is a swamp rat folder?

I would like to pick one of those up, but if you are talking about my grail, no, that's not it.

THIS is my baby..

How goes the packing? I hope well. I told my wife if we move again I am leaving everything except my guns, ammo, knives, fishing, reloading gear, packs, and bows. If she wants her great-great-grandmothers furniture then I would move it too. Forget all the other stuff--especially if a cross-country move.

What do you reload? I've been sticking to 45acp and the 5.7 (a small round that I really like).

I need to go through stuff and have a huge sale. I still have boxes of stuff I never unpacked from 7 years ago. Maybe its time to let it go.

We used to have a rule. If we moved and the boxes were still unpacked from the previous move, then we would throw them away.

It's a tan coating, not sure if it's sage, or a straight up tan, but it's coated.
