Mike, not sure if anyone has asked, but are you going to get any SY or SR knives in the upcoming releases? Didn't you say you carried a Swamp Warden? Or did I forget to take my meds again?

They've blocked all the social sites here at work. Was getting to many viruses.

I don't carry a Swamp Warden. I had a Swamp Warden, a few years ago, but I sold it. It was a fine knife, but – already having an Assault Shaker, a Pepper Shaker, and a Game Warden – there was already a lot of overlap of good options of very similar blades.
I think I'll be sitting this one out. It's more important to conserve my capital, right now.

While ago a couple deputies and I were talking flashlights and I remembered reading about the Ultra Capacitor Led Flashlight. I THINK it runs for a hour or hour and a half and RECHARGES IN 90 SECONDS! It does not use batteries. Check it out. http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sourc...aUjnPclWMl5gHKw

I've got an assault shaker. Used to carry it all the time. But not any more. Just a tad shorter than I like. I would like a sorta leaf shaped blade sharpened only on one side with a cutting edge of 3 1/4 inches and a TOTAL blade length of no more than 3 1/2 with a full 4 finger grip handle.

Well, that was a link to the video for the Scott Mackenzie song San Francisco (Flowers in Your Hair).
Believe it or not, I owe A LOT to that silly song.

I know that sounds a LOT like the Warden, but I think I would prefer to have handle slabs on it. Just me.

So, just get a warden with slabs, or put slabs on one.

for instance, when I retired from the AF my dad worked some as a reserve deputy and asked me if I had thought about something in the LE field. I hadn't actually thought about it but he brought me down and introduced me to the then Sheriff and I started part time dispatch a week later. Went full time 12 days after my actual retirement date. I got lucky. I was employed in the civilian sector in Jan of '94 part time, had an actual retirement date of 1 March '94 and went full time March 12th.

Yes, it is funny.
When my ex and her family escaped from the Iron Curtain, and were looking for a country to grant them asylum, it was that song that convinced my ex's parents to emigrate to the USA, to San Francisco. If it wasn't for that song, my ex would've ended up Swedish or Australian.
