life is very good at the Yard! I love it here.
My saiga just has the normal stock. We can't do any mods over here in Cali legally. And it's not worth getting caught. Understandable. I forgot you were in Cali. Yah sometimes I wish I could forget too...

I was going to buy a 380 for a bug but our duty ammo is 40 bucks a box if you can find it. We have to supply the ammo to practice, qual and carry. So its pricey. It was enough to keep me from buying the new one. I will stick with my old bug. Man, that would hit the pocketbook. What do bug carry now if you dont mind me asking?

I am trying to figure a good CCW for the summer. I want something that I can drop in pocket or IWB and not worry about if I am in short and a t-shirt. I have had a Ruger LCP in the past and various J-Frames. My dad has a KelTec 9mm that is a single stack that I shoot ok. Just don't know what to go with. If I could find a nice older no lock Smith in 642 or a 442 that is probably be a good one. The LCP just is hard for me to hold on to.

trucking employment prospects are crap here right now, considering seeing the Recruiter this week...........maybe i can drive a tank recovery vehicle...... Tank, like a tanker or a Tank in the military sense? yea i got a class 3 (BC CANADA) licence now....maybe i can drive one of them big arse tank recovery 20 wheelers!

They supply the ammo for all my issue weapons. But a bug is highly recommended. If its a personal weapon we have to pony up. All bugs are personal weapons from an approved list.
I work for a moderate sized agency. It would cost a mint just to keep us in ammo for bugs.

Pocket psitols are hard for me to hold as well. I wanted an LCP just because they are small. But don't shoot the tiny autos well. I had a great deal on a PPK but my hands are just to big to shoot it well. Its not like I have fists like hams. The guns are just tiny.
