Other knives that I have coming down the road could also be considered in this category. I really like the sounds of this!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I was told the SR-77 wouldn't hold up as far as edge retention.....Baahh to those fools. This is great material and Dan is doing unheard of thing with his blades. It is practically Wal- Mart prices for some of his blades with unparalled performance!!!
EMail if you have a spare 460!!!!

I have to agree GF.In a long blade it's hard to beat but in a small blade such as a folder or a fixed blade,D2 is tough.

My best knife - definitly my SS4! It gets the most use because of the size, it has the mudder handle which is my fave and is made out of the worlds finest steel. As much as I like the DF which because of it's size is what I would call the flagship ,I prefer the SS4. As a fighting tool the DF with a sharpened back edge would be my first choice. At close range I would take it even over a handgun.
I don't have a S6 but I have an M6 which is almost as good. The S6/M6 is an awesome fighter and all around user and would be a great choice as a military knife. I can't wait to compare the M6 to the S5(dumpster Mutt).

I hate to disagree Unsub, but at close range i'll take my Glock G30.But if some ungodly reason it fails;then I'll grab my Scrapper 6. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

So well-balanced, feels so quick & lively in the hand. I just got my S6 a few days ago.
(i got carried away with dog father.. can you tell i like my DF <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> )

I much prefer the S6 over the M6. I actually ordered an M6 and returned it. Kept the S6, much lighter, yet heavy enough to get the job done. Have a DF, which I prefer over the Battle Rat. Put them head to head on a dead/petrified pine and I declared the DF the hands down winner. Price was also a factor in my decision.
