I'm kind of shook up. I went and looked at something that I suppose I probably shouldn't have. I looked at my ex-fiancée's photo gallery, to see how she's doing.
She had pictures of herself going through chemotherapy – gaunt, pale, with her hair falling out. It rent my heart.

I can see how one would think of something like that.
Obviously, someone wanted to demonstrate our tendency to anthropomorphize, and our tendency to ascribe life-attributes and feelings to inanimate objects.
Also, whoever made it obviously had some interest in physics, and systematically showed the three types of heat transfer – conductive, irradiative, and convective.
