I am looking forward to this weekend. My brother, me and a couple friends are driving to Tulsa for the worlds largest gun show--well outside of an arms bazaar in Kandahar. All the good stuff will be picked over by the dealers on friday but it is still fun to go and see all the neat stuff there. On occasion there is a deal to be had. When I first got into Bussekin I passed on a Zero Tolerance BM for 450 bucks because I did not know what it was. Next show--it was gone. The guy was from the same city I live in and did not want to exchange info or tell me much about it. I was determined then to get some Infi. Now that I have it, I am ok with it but my Yard and Swamp knives are still what I love.

I guess I should define boots. Ariats, cowboy boots--not lace up like work boots. Those boots feel good for about 5 minutes then I am done.

I am not a cowboy, but I do ride horses when I have the chance, I have worked on a ranch, I have baled hay, I have worked around livestock so I guess I am pretty close. I had several family members that worked ranches throughout OK, TX, and KS including riding with Jesse Chisholm so I guess it is kinda in the blood.

I wear combat boots at work and hiking boots everywhere else. Have some nice cowboy boots but got rid of my horses years ago. So I rarely wear them.

Riding can be fun, make ya sore, and scare the crap out of ya. I will say this, hunting off the back of a horse can be fun unless the horse is not gun broken--then it is going to hurt real bad when you hit the ground and even more if the horse stomps you. Oh yeah, they don't like snakes either LOL.
