Just a thought but don't you think the S77 steel would be ideal for making one of these... http://www.topsknives.com/product_info.p...0e4d91eb949e47dOviously the design would need changing a little to get around the copyright laws !

i would vote for one of these     falcata sword.. made the romans change their armour designs, was used by the spartans  <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/loopy.gif" alt="" />, turks and eventually mutated into the khukri go on Dan <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
