I guess there is a little Conan the Barbarian in all of us!

Men you can't trust, women you can't trust, beasts you can't trust, but Bussekin steel you can trust

Sweet! It is nasty looking! Same size handles as the other rats then?
Same blade shape on other side, or it it chisel ground?

I think the handle is the same as the Rats. If not, it's darn close. Same blade shape on both sides. Great fighting knife.

Do I want to ask what a shillelagh is? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

An Irish whupin' stick...usually Blackthorn. See here: Wiki: Shillelagh

2001, after 9-11.

Well, sort of... it was produced first in 2001, and then released for sale as a military overrun in 2003, at least according to my reading (well before my time here!)

Holy Schmoly MM, 2246 posts in 3+ months. WOW, I better get busy. I read the history of the TW, wish I knew about the Bussekin earlier.
