Looks like you had a blast.
My grandson splunks (?) into caves in Newfoundland (he's just 15)

Cheers

Great pics. I went to Zion last year and had a blast hiking the trails there. Angels Landing was awesome!

Thanks for sharing.

Actually, this sport is called Canyoneering in the USA or Canyoning in Europe. Alot more than just rapping on rope. Problem solving, climbing, downclimbing, swimming, wading, hiking, anchor building, route fingding, etc..... one of the most diversed sports around. ZNP is a cool place, but there are other places in Utah (Robbers Roost, Swell, North Wash, Poison Springs, Lake Powell areas) that I think are cooler, more squeezing/phyisical canyons, clothes/gear get tear-up pretty easy, lots of fun.

Wasn't dissin ya, dude

I'm familiar with canyoneering, but wasn't sure if you were doing that or technical rock climbing or some sport rapping. Sport rapping is fine for those who are into it - personally it's my least favorite part of climbing. Most climbing accidents happen on the way back down, not the way up

Canyoneering sounds like fun. I belonged to a rock-climbing gym here and I used to do some bouldering and wall climbing. Nothing beats being outdoors though doing the real thing.
