Dont attack me but... i just ordered a lanksy pro kit to keep this thing happy..was this a wise choice  i dont want to end up ruining this thing and i probably should have asked before ordering it but i figure i can use it with my other blades.. your suggestions?

welcome to the yard snoballz.
lansky is a good sharpening system to maintain a V-edge, it's simple to use and hard to mess up. not the best tool for profiling edges, but once the angle matches, it's easy to maintain.

Oh yeahhhhh!i have recived my first Scrapyard today Scrapper 5 is amazig a real nice blade...i'm very hapy! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> i will buy more scrapyard knives in the future <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
