I fell in love with the INFI of SS-4. Missed the offering and bought mine months later at a substantial premium in the secondary market.
I LOVED my SS-4. I had Rainwalker make a beautiful Python sheath for it I loved it soooo much.
Enter the Scrapper Five. The thickness, the color combo I chose, and the added surprise of Swamp Rats own steel being used. The length is what I wanted in the SS-4 but didn't get.
It has all the build of a Dog Mutt without the pry tip and .280 thickness. Lending it to many more uses.

The color is beautiful, the steel rocks, and the length exceeds the SS-4 with weight, height and a longer Mudder handle than the Busse basic used on my DMCG.

I am overjoyed with the new S-5 and see it getting much more use and carry than the SS-4 or DMCG ever got.
But then there is that Scrap Yard Stainless.....God how I love all three models. The Bird is just ridiculous. The Muk is over the top useful and the Puppy gets the short end of the stick out of the three. But is still a ultra sweet shape and style.

Scrap Yard Knives are continuing to amaze me at every turn.
Now how do they top the S-5 release? Never happen.
