By the way, that is now what they look like right after stripping... Some serious elbow grease and a scotchbrite pad made it happen..
Right after stripping the sod, it had an almost tanker grey color.. I'm guessing that's the decarb layer..

Looks like they came pretty clean. Was that after one time?
Gonna do my BM soon... Wondering if I'm going to have any problems.

Wow, that SOD looks pretty smooth. Stripping Busse-made knives is like opening a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get. Sometimes they are unbelievably rough, sometimes not. Nice job, El Clintor! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Gonna do my BM soon... Wondering if I'm going to have any problems. Well, the SS4 took only one coat to get the rest of the coating off, but the SOD took 3 times! The sage coating is some tough stuff! I'll strip your CGFBM, but the rest is up to you... i can see the cbt's taking a while to get the decarb off..
