Ok, so I walked/ jogged the 7.7 miles trail (full circle) and picked up these pics along the way. I found myself half way through the trail when I noticed I had spent way to much time taking pictures and not enough moving forward. I came across a map and realized I was only at the half way point and it was approaching 9:15 PM. I decided to just finish the circuit...lol. The rest of the trail is a bunch of heavily tree canopied groves, I couldn’t see 15 feet in front of me and there was no one else around. All I had was my cell phone and keys so I decided I needed to jog the remaining 3.5 miles lighting the way with my cell phone at times. I was also afraid they would lock the entrance/exit to the park, so I picked up the pace. I could hear the animals scatter around me as I whizzed by in the darkness. I am sure at that hour they didn’t expect to encounter me. While I was positive there wasn't anything predatorial I needed to be concerned about. I still let my imagination turn squirrels and fleeing deer into bears. Lions, Tigers and Bears......anyway enjoy the pics.

Don't joke about beavers/otters/other water rodents. I was tube fishing and had a gang of otters come after me, I was sure they were going after my jewels! I was on top of that float tube lickity split, I was actually standing on it! I think my fishing buddies laughing so loud and hard scared all the fish away.

I wish I had pictures! I never thought a fuzzy little creature could scare the S-outta me! I almost lost all my gear getting away from them, and at the time that seemed like a good tradeoff!
