It has a Tek-Lok on the back. I'm not sure why people don't like Tec-Loks. I carried a Bird Dog for four days in kydex with a Tec-Lok and it was very comfortable.
If you don't sharpen your axe from time to time, you will soon be chopping with a hammer.

I don't like tek locks on big knives, but they are fine for smaller ones. They ride way too high on a big knife, unless you're gonna rotate it for horizontal carry. I need to make up some drop loops for my large kydex sheaths, which all have the tek locks now.

Thanks for the info MM. All the knives I have in Kydex with a Tec-Lok are 5" or under and they work fine for that with my body type....short and round <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />. I like the high ride in the smaller knives.

I also received some sheaths from David Brown; three for S5s (one [like yours] in carbon fiber and two in chocolate brown Kydex) and one for a SAR 5 (in carbon fiber Kydex).
