That Desert DF is nice! I'm very tempted although odds are I'm sitting this one out.

Here's a picture of a full-height Fall Knob Creek '08 Tan Dog Father along with my straight-handled mistress:

[Linked Image from i202.photobucket.com]

Yesterday I got the chance to compare my NMFBM(.275") to another FBM, this time a custom shop(.270") DDFBM. Very nice but I don't dig the wavy spine on the FBM. This new custom shop FBM looks sweet as . And the tan DF, looks & will be awesome . Some of the newer Dogs are going to be most pleased with this knife. Chop away

Man, I like the vex a lot! I wish it was just being offered outright. These Ganzas are hard for me and I think selling them on the Busse site will bring in many collectors who are big buyers.

Too bad- that green handle looks SWEET!!!

I'd order a Vex, but something like that I can make.

I strongly suggest going after the vex's - one of the most functional EDC designs to ever come out of a Bussekin company - no stupid non-functional choil eating up valuable blade real estate.

PLus one! I love the vex. It feels so nice in hand.

Enjoy every sandwich.

The vex is a perfect edc. I compared it to my AD in a video I did on my current fixed blades.

Don't forget we(dawgs) got most of the MOD 7's that were part of the ganza(Jim has over 10% of all MOD's available to the public)

don't also forget that there was a small uproar when the Mod's where released, and in the end they limited the sale to the yard for the first 30 minutes or 10 minutes or something to give us an edge.

Dan tells us “Jerry can really hold his Johnny Blue.”

Amy says: “Just remember to send the e-mail after the GO GO GO GO on WEDNESDAY Remember Jerry is ALWAYS RED..Do not fall for the Fake Jerry's.”

I think I’ve got it. We feed Jerry a Jerry can full of Johnny Blue so he will give a Red GO GO GO GO signal to start the drunken ganza.

If Jerry drinks a Jerry can full of Johnny Walker Red, he will get confused and give a Blue signal, it will be a sober fake ganza and we’ll all waste our emails.

That’s how the rules work, right?

I think the biggest point of weirdness is that ganzaa is set up to be highly competitive and time limited, like an auction, but the product in question goes for a fixed and reasonable price. Then everybody who gets in buys a half dozen and sells them at 100% markup. Either make enough that you can sell them at the proper price, or hold a REAL auction where they are sold at whatever price the market will bear (which would make more money for the Busses anyway).

If Jerry really wants to make things interesting he should do it dutch auction style. People would submit bids for what they were willing to pay. Then the bids are all ordered from highest to lowest and you compare that to how many knives there are. if there are 10 knives and the bids are in this order: 300,275,275,275,260,250,250,245,240,225,210,205,175,150,111,100,95,75. the top ten bids would get knives and each would pay the price of the 10th bid ie. 225. would be more suspense for the buyers, and more coin in jerry's pocket.
