All right! All you dogs who have been barking and whining for a Dog Father, this is your chance. Get over to BF and figure it out. You won't regret it. The DF is one great chopper.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

The moab is an impressive hunk of INFI, but that's all it is.
It's too thick and heavy to be used as anything more than a sharpened Louisville Slugger.
Have you ever seen the video of the guy chopping a coconut with it? It doesn't CHOP the coconut - it CRUSHES it.
I picked one up at BLADE - it weighs like 75 pounds and is about 12 feet long.

MustardMan....are you saying that it isn't very practical? :-)
Do you have a link for that video....that would be cool.
So I guess a Dogfather would out chop the semi-sharpened infi prybar that will likely cost a guy a couple of house payments.....it would be fun though.

The moab is 0.4 inches thick. Almost half an inch thick. That's not just a fatty, that's absurd.
The dogfather would outchop the moab just because you'd get so tired after the first three swings that your arm would fall off, and the dogfather user could keep a-choppin'

Unfortunately, I didn't save the link to the video.
Oh yeah, it retails for over two grand.

No, but I have a Test Team Killa Zilla. It weighs nearly 2 1/2 lbs. I can't imagine wanting any knife heavier than that. The FFBM is at the top of the practical chopper size for me. But that's just me. What do I know? I like those wimpy machetes!

Having handled the MOAB and the zilla at BLADE, I can say the zilla feels like a featherweight compared to the MOAB. That thing is a BEAST.
