I did a search but did not find anything like I was looking for so I figured I would start a new one. If this has been discussed in the past I apologize now.......

Lets talk zombie reference material. What are the best books out there and why?

I know this should draw some interest!!!! I am a huge believer in being prepared and I think that these books have some pretty useful info in them. I just want to get a thread going on this so lets get to talking folks.

Once I saw the movie Quarantine, I was convinced that we COULD see a day when zombies are a real possible threat. Better to be prepared than not.

I am buying a boat soon so I'll be able to make it to an island. (Zombies don't swim) That's not why I'm buying the boat though.

Maybe we need a Scrap Yard Z.P.T. --> Zombie Protection Tool --> SY Sword or large machete-like blade

Are you baased at Fort Knox?

This past weekend I took the family on a short vacation down to the corvette museum and on the way back I wanted to take them to the Patton museum...anyway made a wrong turn and ended up at one of the gates asking for directions. The military police were cautious but a great bunch. We ended up having a bunch of laughs and the comment came out that I do not get out much...I said that’s right the Dog's force me to make knives day and night and that started a another conversation. One other point...I can not get over how wet it is there...does it ever stop raining. This time of year the ground should be cracking

Dan,

Yea I am based here at Ft Knox. I am a mobilized reservist and have been here for almost 2 years!! I lived in Bowling Green for years before I moved to St Louis. Bowling Green is a great little city. Patton museum is also a cool place to see. I have been there countless times. The MP's up here are not toooooo bad!!! They have there moments. The rain has been crazy here this year. It should be crazy dry but it is not......global warming my [censored]!! LOL Next time you get up this way you should let me know. I could show you around a little. There is also a really cool military museum in Louisville I would recommend.
