Dan it would be so cool if this next release is to be a numbered LE if you would make it easier for JYDs to get their number. Under the last LE release you could get your number if you requested it in time and the number of oreders ahead of you hadnt reached your number. That makes it nearly impossible for the JYDs who put in the time in the formative years of Scrapyard to get their number. PrivateKlink would have practically no chance. I know everybody cherishes that number 1 knife but lets face it,where would it mean the most. With the current system of ordering and closing out orders before production it would be easy to do. If the JYDs dont place an order so be it those numbers could go elsewhere. Tom being the gentleman that he is will obviously say it doesnt matter either way to him but I say lets make it happen. I personally don't really care about the numbers on LE knives, and think there are far more important things to worry about in life. If you desire your JYD number on your LE, well that's just another one of the fun little games we can play. Besides, if it was that easy to just request your JYD number, we would lose the very cool community-building trend where folks will get a low number and then offer to trade it to the JYD who holds that number. That level of community and sharing is one of the things that's so great about the Yard <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Usually, more work = more money. There are only 95 JYDs at the moment. Just pull the 1st 95 numbers and if that person orders give it too them. Not nearly the amount of work as organizing the different handle and blade combos that went into the last release. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
