I like the system just the way it is....I know I will catch hell for that comment but that is part of the "fun", if you will. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> i was not suggesting to change the system entirely, i was only merely suggesting making an exception for this paticular knife. I only want/need one. In fact, if I score one I'll end up selling my unused standard model and the LE will be my user. I'm not a collector so I won't need more than one of the same knife in any configuration.

I would like Dan to offer JYDs the option of pre-order for their numbered S5LE, just one. I kinda worry about guys with deep pockets snagging 100 of these and all I want is 2. My JYD and it's whatever for a user. If I snag a second one and it's a JYD's # then it's in the mail as far as I'm concerned. As cool as it is to have your own number it's still just part of the fun of being a fan of SYKC. Getting your JYD is a "score" and a trophy that backs up your love for the Yard and pride in being a JYD. Im fine with earning my numbers when they come and Ill still hunt for them when I can. I'll still be JYD and I'll still be proud to buy SYKC and participate in the Yard discussions as long as I'm able. Long live the Yard! I do hope Dan will do some JYD dog tag bottle openers though... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I doubt I'll make JYD before this release, but when I do having the corresponding # would be cool. With that out of the way I hope I can pick a few up, weather Dan puts a limit on ordering or not.

Under the current system he is proposing, the earliest dogs who've been here the longest have the least chance of being fast enough to get their number. Sometimes whoever got your number won't trade you. I wanted #4 Muk and offered to trade one of mine for it, but I never heard who had it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
