Had to reload my laptop today and in the process started to clean up my photos. Came across a couple I had posted last summer and then misplaced. It is my CZ 453 Varmint in .17HMR. My little laser beam.

Those Co2 cartridges really fly when you hit them.
It is topped by a Bushnell Elite 4200 3-9x40 in those photos, however I have since mounted a Mueller APV 4.5-14 for a little more magnification. Truth be told though, my old Marlin 17LVS shot tighter groups. That was after I pillar bedded it though. I think I'll try and build up enough courage to do the same to my CZ and expect better from it. After all, it has a better trigger, action and barrel. Only weak point in the whole equation is the clown on the trigger.
Finally went out to the range with some handloads for my .223 last week too! Looking like some serious potential with 52gr HPBT seated over 25 grains of Varget.
