Exactly Bruce- I think some thought last night was a Dog Bowl or Ganza- when it was really a release of an LE edition that will most likely be a grail knife <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />. With that being said- there are many that simply cannot afford even at a great price <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />. I travel across the US and many other international places and can honestly say that this economy has not seen a bottom IMO. Not even close. But- this is also a great time to cash in on great deals <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />. Blade was only 2 months ago. Since then we have seen a lot of new steel out of Wauseon. I think folks are just out of money.

Exactly... when I got involved in these three companies, I kept telling myself I wouldn't be one of those guys who's always trying to flip knives right after buying them, but at the rate things have been coming out, I've been forced to sell stuff that I just got, in order to pay for the latest shiny object that catches my attention. I could see more and more knives going on the chopping block unless they slow down the rate of new releases.

And the second hand market has been decimated by the fast release schedule too. To me, that's actually a GOOD thing - I was always bothered by the crazy, crazy markup on knives, so I'm glad to see profit margins have dropped a bit, and it's easier to get your hands on these knives to actually USE them.

Yes- I can see that too- but still many of the grail knives are still quite high on the secondary market <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />. Look at the SS4- RMD- Chopweiler etc. And the newly released S5s do pretty darn well for just coming out <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />.I have noticed that once knives are used the value drops way down <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />. Hmm, I was thinking it would be even more limited. "Maybe not enough for everybody" sounds very limited, so if this is still up in over a week, people are either not buying a lot or they weren't that limited.

I bought two in the hopes of later flipping one of them for Busse INFI, but thats a pipe dream if a lot of them are being made (maybe it was anyway).
