Tandy is in Tucker, just outside of Atlanta. They are a chain so there might be more of them around - I never really checked.

They carry rivets and belt loops and the like, but I didn't see any kydex in there. I ordered my kydex, rivets, and some belt loops online through knifekits.com - I would have ordered the rivet setting tool from knifekits, too, but they are out of stock. Hopefully the one from Tandy will work with my rivets, since I bought a hundred pack of them.

Yeah, got my stuff from knifekits.com too, they are really nice to deal with.

I was lucky to get both size rivet settings tools, but people do mention that the flare can crack with those. I suppose if I ever really get into it, I'll get one of their kydex presses and a rivet press as well. But for now I wanted to keep it cheap.

Did you get the "pointy" kydex drill bits too, or does a regular drill bit work fine? And did you use a press drill to make the holes or just hand held?

I used a hand drill with normal bits, and center punched with a nail. High end <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

Hatchet to use as a hammer (didn't have hammer at school)
Nail to make holes
Pliers to hold nail so I didn't hit fingers
Thick stack of newspapers so I didn't make holes in my kitchen table. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Andy, whatever works. Now you need a brown ball cap with a flat bill pointed to the side, a pair of baggy pants, long t-shirt and a gold tooth to go along with that sheath! I bet you might get some looks LOL.

Hmmm, well I have baggy jeans...I like my Roca Wear jeans I got at Goodwill. They have deep wide pockets, which I love as an EDC'r. They're deep enough to conceal a Glock 17, or all but the handle of my DFLE. I don't have gold teeth or a grill, but I have Billy Bob teeth!

How about Billy Bob's with a gold tooth?
