It's amazing how different two very similar knives can feel in the hand. The DFLE is light and fast, the DDF is a brute!

DFLE - 17.1 oz


Thickness:
DDF - 0.275
DFLE - 0.245


Balance: Both in the same spot, ~2" from the handle just past the choil.

Yes the DF and DFLE are very different handling knives. For maximum full on chopping, a DF can hold its own with the FBM, especially for extended sessions when hand fatique sets in. For a fast light all-arounder, I like the DFLE. Looks like you have the best of both worlds, now. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
