Thunder & Lightning!!! ![[Linked Image from farm3.static.flickr.com]](http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2034/3799634918_5f4ecef639_o.jpg) It's amazing how different two very similar knives can feel in the hand. The DFLE is light and fast, the DDF is a brute!

Yes the DF and DFLE are very different handling knives. For maximum full on chopping, a DF can hold its own with the FBM, especially for extended sessions when hand fatique sets in. For a fast light all-arounder, I like the DFLE. Looks like you have the best of both worlds, now. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
