Those are the tan canvas micarta scales. I love the texture of the grip and what a nice convex grind on that blade! Gonna have to decide what kind of pants to get for the little beauty...

g10 looks nice and all but my fav is still the feel of micarta and for some reason im drawn to greens.....

hope your going to have some fun with it...... mines a safe queen at the moment cause im playing with other ones.... and i also picked up a hack

[censored]. I'm kicking myself. I had the opportunity to get one from the Ganza. Got the DDF but didn't have the extra scratch for the Vex. Looks like a really useful size and shape. Nice simple lines. Canvas micarta is my favorite handle too. Should have grabbed a tan one and double sheathed it with the DDF.

Ooooh. That was my first thought when they arrived. What a piggyback combo that would make.
