The tip is only .140 at the thickest part of the blunt end. The whole blade is convexed.

Yep. There are very few knives that have substantial handle when you need them..
Made sure i could choke up or use a semi two handed grip on this one.

Nice lines on the knife for an "original" look....if it looks anything to me....it looks a little on the blade design like the Emmerson chisel grind Tanto survival knives....but it is "much bigger"....and with a fully convexed edge your knife would work better too. Great first attempt on a knife! No doubt you have the skills of your forum name!
