need some advice. My primary rifle 1960's Husqvarna .270 is worn out. I like the mauser action on the rifle what do I replace it with ? I am of the general opinion that new guns are junk
Winchester Model 70 ? Not sure about the new guns they are putting out ? Is it shot out or just not shooting My fav bolt gun is a Browning Eclipse A Blot in 308 Win This is the one with the laminate stoke and thumbhole The new Mod 70's are supposed to be like the old pre-64 style....according to a article I saw in American Rifleman....supposed to be pretty sweet actions again...

Hi guys figured I'd join in.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> A patch sounds interesting. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> You got creative blood running through you...how about design ideas I'd love to play a part in the design. I'm usually better at expressing it with images instead of words though. I did get a thought the other day though.... somebody has something about a flag in their sig line and it made me think of the SYKCO logo done kinda like a jolly roger type image... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> That would be an interesting concept to follow...I like it How about the dog logo with crossed dogfathers!

I have a Browning 1885 Hi-Wall breech load single shot in a .45-70, sweet shooter and really surprisingly accurate

Thanks Dan. Here's my analogy. Being new to a forum is like meeting a new friend... you don't want to come on too strong and wear out your welcome immediately... it takes time to earn the right to post constantly being a new member (in my opinion) you won't wear out your welcome here my friend.. this place is very different.. In a very GOOD way... You are so correct. As long as any Dog is polite & respectful there is no coming on too strong. I do know that if anyone does get carried awy they are given hints by the others...a very cool pack of Dogs
