Definitely can't wait for them to come in...my guess is sometime in October too. They will be worth the wait though.

It would be a great B-Day present for myself as well if it shows up in October. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

The sooner the better. I just unloaded a bunch of other blades. I NEED the S5LE to fill this mid-sized void so I don't go spending cash on other things that will likely end up in the drawer once it arrives.

Then I'll have more do-re-mi for the next offering!

October would be very bad for me.

Knob Creek (Fall) begins October 9, and I have vacation scheduled for that week. I'll spend less than last year (when I dropped about $3K at the Busse booth), but I know I'll be buying some things, including a GrooveMaster Garth told me he's making for me (I've envied Jeff Forbush's ever since I watched him buy it); it'll be arctic white with black hand-shaped handles. I spent $1500 this Spring at Knob Creek for 3 BC knives (A FSH, an NMSFNO, and a SAR5), 4 SY knives (2 BDLEs and 2 SoD LEs), and one pair of tigerhide M1911 grips (although I still don't own a .45).

Going to Knob Creek is expensive when one lacks impulse control. I insist on paying off the CC at the end of each month, so I'd really prefer S5LEs not go on the same billing cycle.

I hear you Jim!!!! Knob Creek is a killer on the CC! Didn't know you liked my Groove Master that much though. I am a little jealous that you got a Arctic White one coming......very very nice!!
