Here's a SAR4 I picked up a while ago - my first infi. I also went to the local leather store and picked up the supplies to make my own sheath. What you see below are the results (color = Fiebing chocolate). I wanted a high riding sheath with a qd loop for putting on a belt without having to unbuckle it. It's not Rainwalker quality (far, far from it ), but it seems to work. I have a new respect for cutting, shaping, staining, gluing, drilling, gluing, stitching, riveting, and sealing leather than I did before. Jeff makes it look so easy. This SAR4 will compete with my S5 this fall to accompany me on my hunts. I haven't had a chance to beat on it yet, but this is one LE that won't see the inside of a safe unless it's on my hip retrieving my rifle for a hunt.
