Hey Dawgs...Just bored tonight so I thought I would post this and see what types of responses we get. Just answer what knife in your personal collection you think would be best suited for each task mentioned below. Please keep it to the Busse family knives. Thanks.
Tasks: 1. Chopping medium to larger sized limbs and firewood 2. Batoning wood/logs 3. Making fuzz sticks and small stuff for fire starting 4. Cleaning fish 5. Cleaning small game 6. Cleaning/dressing out a hog/deer or large game 7. General camp all-purpose camp dutites 8. Hiking companion blade 9. Food prep - veges and meat for cooking 10. Brush clearing 11. BFE survival (woods/swamp/jungle/etc.) - All tasks 12. Urban SHTF survival - All tasks Feel free to answer/match as few or as many as you like. I know there are probably many more tasks for knives but I had to keep it at a reasonable length.
Well, that's it. Looking forward to the responses. Have fun with it!

Tasks: 1. Chopping medium to larger sized limbs and firewood Killa zilla 2. Batoning wood/logs Tough choice here - many excel at it. The knives that performed best at batoning were also the ones that ate up my batons fastest. Probably either the Regulator or M9LE - one for the length and the other for the thickness. Both tear up batons, though. 3. Making fuzz sticks and small stuff for fire starting The vex is best for fuzz sticks, as it's thin and I've kept it hair popping sharp. The S5 or Muk would be better for batoning down to matchstick sized kindling. 4. Cleaning fish bird dog le easily 5. Cleaning small game bird dog le here too 6. Cleaning/dressing out a hog/deer or large game scrapper 5 probably - the last time I was around for a deer cleaning I was about 15 and it was done with a buck 110, so I'm a bit fuzzy on the details... 7. General camp all-purpose camp dutites NMSFNO - big enough to chop and baton well but still somewhat reasonable to carry. Also super comfortable for extended use with the hand-shaped micarta handles, yet more durable than res-c. 8. Hiking companion blade S5 here too - big enough to beat on but small enough to carry. I don't usually build fires when I hike, though - if I were expecting to do so, I'd carry something bigger. 9. Food prep - veges and meat for cooking Muk. I LOVE that knife in the kitchen. 10. Brush clearing M9LE hands down. Light and fast in the hands - nuff said. If I get myhands on a SAR8 or Bushwhacker, this might change. 11. BFE survival (woods/swamp/jungle/etc.) - All tasks Probably the NMSFNO - for the same reason as I'd choose it for camp duties. 12. Urban SHTF survival - All tasks Regulator. I'm not someone who plans on doing much stabbing of people, but I imagine the regulator would do it quite well, and it's got the beefiness needed to bust open car doors or break into buildings to gather supplies.
BONUS: 13. Zombie survival. Waki. Duh.
You'll notice that a few favorites dominate the list - I have a few other Bussekin blades that I dig, but not enough to edge out the others. The SOD and DDF, for example, could perform well in many of these tasks, but they are mostly edged out by the INFI knives. Now if you're talking price to performance, well then the Yard offerings win every category. I could carry a different knife from the yard for every single task on that list for the price of one killa zilla.

Cool answers MM and the Zombie Survival is a VERY good addition.
I may need to get a NMSFNO - I don't have one currently.

The NMSFNO is definitely a sweet knife, but lots of other stuff in the same size class will perform on a similar level. The NMSFNO just has that nice fit and finish that make me grab it often. Knives like the SOD or Camp Tramp will match the NMSFNO in many tasks - and they will be lighter on the belt, too, due to the hidden tangs.

Depending on the thickness of the logs, I would say that the S5CG would be my first choice for tasks 2 through 9. 11 & 12 would probably be the Reg. and 1 & 10 would be my machete which shall remain nameless as it is not a SY blade.

Here's my go at this...Most are assumptions though because I haven't had the opportunity to try them all at these tasks. These are my choices based on my current collection and which knife I would choose for each task based on what I know about each knife and how it feels when I hold/use it.
Tasks: 1. DF 2. DF/SoD/CT 3. Vex/MPLE/Mora 4. BDLE easy 5. Muk/SS4/MPLE/Vex 6. Muk/SS4/MPLE/Vex 7. CT/SoD/S5/RMD 8. DM/S5/Muk/RMD 9. Muk/BDLE 10. Waki/DF/Tram Machete 11. CT/RMD/S5 12. DM/Vex/SS4/S5 13. Added by MM - Zombie control - Waki
I know I didn't pick just one for each task but since I haven't performed these tasks yet with the knives I had to list the knives I felt were most appropriate and that would be my go to knife for each task. I think the best all-around knife would be the S5 and the RMD.

I revised it. The SODLE could do it all, though.

Of course, picking the best Scrap Yard Knife for each task might be more fun. This is just my opinion. I am partial to the DFLE and BDLE.
Tasks: 1. Chopping medium to larger sized limbs and firewood: Dog Father 2. Batoning wood/logs: Dog Father 3. Making fuzz sticks and small stuff for fire starting: Scrap Muk 4. Cleaning fish: Bird Dog 5. Cleaning small game: Bird Dog 6. Cleaning/dressing out a hog/deer or large game: Scrapper 5 LE 7. General camp all-purpose camp dutites SOD 8. Hiking companion blade: SS4 9. Food prep - veges and meat for cooking: Bird Dog 10. Brush clearing: DFLE 11. BFE survival (woods/swamp/jungle/etc.) - All tasks: DFLE 12. Urban SHTF survival - All tasks: Scrapper 6
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
