i have really been looking for a new hawk or ax with a hammer back a real tool not some play thing... oddly i was just going to settle with a cold steel one ....

something kinda like that with a res-c and a nice chunk of back steel for weight and splitting power would be perfect for the woods around here...

+1... There has never been an axe, hatchet, or the like offered from ScrapYard, correct?!

That would certainly be lovely in SR77 with a Res-C handle, don't you think?

That's right. That Busse one needs a two handed grip though I think.

Oh yeah! That is a cool piece.

My request was for a small carry hatchet...
>>> Small woodland hatchet with a 3 inch face, 14 inch curved handle with wide butt and lanyard hole. Res-C smooth grip covering 3/4 of the handle. See Gransfors Wildlife Hatchet profile.

I think that, paired up with a full sized "splitting" axe for home and base camp would be way cool from the Yard. Those in SR-77 with Res-C would outclass ANY others on the market.

This could be a whole new line that would bring in the family and camping crowd who are not used to big chopping knives but are comfortable with the traditional hatchet/axe.

We can add it to the "Dan ya just gotta make this someday" list that I'm sure is already backlogged 50+ years out.
