Let's not forget what happened to us 8 years ago...Although many still remember and still remain patriotic to this day, many others have forgotten. 9/11/2001 is a day never to be forgotten. We were attacked on our own soil and pledged to forever fight those that were responsible....Today, we should all think back and remember what happened on that day and know that if we, as a nation, don't remain vigilant in our fight against terrorism, it could happen again.

It is kinda weird; I spent the night at the Monarch Hotel September 10th 2001, and was awoken by a phone call on 9/11 it was a morning I will never forget. I will be returning to the Monarch Hotel today for Blade West at about the same time I checked out 8 years ago.

Since the "War On Terror" is officially over, what shall we call this struggle against Islamic mass murderers? I will never forget because I had just put my wife back in the hospital on 9/10/2001. I saw the planes hit the buildings on the TV at the hospital. My whole world was falling apart. My wife never recovered. While the nation grieved, I grieved. It was not hard for me to imagine the terror of those trapped in those towers, or the terror of their loved ones, not knowing their fate. We should never forget who did this. It was Islamic terrorists, plain and simple. People with so much hate from their twisted religion that they attack civilians who have done them no harm at all.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I know I will never forget it. I was a Corporal in the Marines stationed at Kaneohe Bay, HI. The Assistant Duty Non-Commmissioned Officer at the barracks went to all of the rooms and woke all of the Marines up in the middle of the night to break the news. I spent the rest of the night glued to the TV. When we reported for duty at my unit that day everyone was walking around in a daze. I remember being overcome with a such a strong feeling of anger, we all did. We just could not wait to get some type of REVENGE. It brings back alot of strong emotions for me.
God bless all of the families and loved ones that were affected.

I saw it first hand, and I couldn't help but think of all the times my elders would tell me the story of what they were doing when they heard JFK was assassinated. This was going to be the story I tell. Looking down the street and seeing the smoke coming from the first tower, I wasn't very concerned. It was a terrible shame, but nothing more. Then the second plane hit, and I got real nervous. I went back inside and watched from the window, as they collapsed one after the other and the fear grew, the concern for the people there hit me hard, and I wondered where my father was. I learned later that he had left the WTC maybe ten minutes before the first impact. Thank God.

They really have. On Sept. 11, 2001 99% of Americans wanted someone to pay. Now it sickens me to see how many people basically sympathize with the Islamic extremists now. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against the entire Nation of Islam. Just the delusional, extremists that believe that they will be rewarded with 72 virgins by sacrificing their lives to take out as many free Americans as possible.
